Michelle Seañez is a Los Angeles native and the founding attorney of Seañez Legal, PC, located in Los Angeles. The practice focuses on Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law, as well as provides other business transaction and litigation services. 

Within a year of opening her practice, Michelle was selected as a Rising Star (2014, 2015, and 2016) and listed as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Southern California in the Business/Corporate practice area by Super Lawyers Magazine. Currently, she is one of Avvo’s top rated attorneys for 2022 and 2023.

She has provided production and finance legal services on feature films such as Office Uprising, Cut Throat City, and the upcoming sci-fi thriller, Parallel Forest. Before opening her own firm, Ms. Seañez spent 10 years with a notable boutique litigation firm in Los Angeles, appearing on behalf of clients in both civil litigation and criminal defense matters, before the State courts throughout California, and Federal Courts in both the Central and Southern Districts of California.

Michelle is a passionate supporter of military veterans and animals. She proudly provides pro bono and discounted legal services to indigent veterans and active members of the US military. She has served as a Board member for The Sparta Project, Inc., a non-profit organization providing programs for military, law enforcement, and first responders battling PTS(d), and is a member of the Board of Directors for Wild Spirit Rescue, a non-profit horse and animal rescue.

She and her small menagerie of rescued dogs, cats, and horses are based in Los Angeles. She enjoys cooking, reading, running, and took up archery as her pandemic hobby.
